The simplest Bauhaus idea, a ball of light on a disc, and it has not needed changing since. Switched on, the whole globe glows and lights the wall around it.

A Ball of Light on a Brass Disc

Two sizes. The 15cm globe is for pairs: one each side of a bed, a mirror or a doorway. The 20cm globe works alone on a hallway or stair wall. The brass plate is 10cm and screws to a standard wall box; the glass unscrews for the bulb. It takes one E27 bulb, line power wired. The opal glass hides the bulb entirely, so there is no glare at eye level.

Key Features

Opal glass globe on a round brass plate.

15cm globe: 22cm from the wall, 22cm tall. 20cm globe: 25cm from the wall, 26cm tall.

Takes one E27 bulb, line power wired.

Glass unscrews for the bulb.

Even glow, no visible bulb.

Works in pairs or alone.

Use It in Pairs Beside a Bed or a Mirror

One each side of the bed at reading height, a pair either side of a bathroom mirror, or one on a hallway or stair wall.
