A round bulkhead light with a ribbed frosted dome behind a metal cage, 19cm across and rated IP65. The ribbed glass spreads the light evenly rather than throwing a hotspot, and the cage lays a faint shadow line across the wall that gives a plain fitting some character.

Nautical Bulkhead Lighting That Handles the Weather

This is the fitting for the practical corners of a house: a side passage, a back door, a porch ceiling, a garage, a shed or a workshop. The IP65 rating means it takes rain and spray without complaint, and the cage protects the glass where a fitting sits at shoulder height or where a door might swing against it. At 19cm across it is small enough to sit on a narrow wall or a soffit without dominating, and shallow enough at 9.4cm deep not to catch a shoulder in a tight passage. Bronze gives it a weathered, nautical look against brick and stone; black keeps it discreet on modern render and cladding. It mounts flat, so it works on a wall or overhead on a porch ceiling.

Key Features

• IP65 rated: sealed against rain and spray for continuous outdoor use.
• Protective metal cage guards the glass in passageways and doorways.
• Ribbed frosted dome spreads the light evenly instead of a single hotspot.
• Mounts flat on a wall or overhead on a porch ceiling or soffit.
• Dimensions: 19cm across, 9.4cm deep.
• Takes one standard E27 bulb, in bronze or black.

Use It Where the Weather Gets In

Put it where a fitting has to work rather than perform: a back door, a side passage, a garage or shed, a porch ceiling, a boot room or a garden outbuilding. Its small footprint suits narrow walls, and overhead mounting keeps it clear of a tight passageway.
