Flat oval petals of woven raffia overlap like a flower above a white opal glass globe, hung on a black cord from a small brass ceiling cup. The light glows down through the glass and catches the weave from underneath, so the shade looks as good lit as it does in daylight.
Natural Texture Over a Soft Globe of Light
Most woven pendants are a single basket. This one is built from separate petals, each a thin oval of warm brown raffia edged with a darker trim, layered so the shape changes as you walk around it. Underneath, the opal glass hides the bulb and spreads an even light with no glare, which is what you want over a table. Choose the single light, 50cm across and 25.5cm tall, for a breakfast table, a bedroom or a small dining room; or the three light version, 60cm across and 28cm tall, with a cluster of three globes that lights a table for six or the center of a living room. The LED bulbs are included and give three Color temperatures, from a warm white for the evening to a cooler white for working. The cord is 150cm long and is shortened at installation to suit your ceiling.
